Robyn O’Brien, author of The Unhealthy Truth and blogger for Prevention magazine, just shared this infographic that was [assumedly] created in the wake of the “gummy-worm-marshmallow-froot-loop-fed cow” foolishness from the other day. I thought it might be helpful to show some of the quick points about why grass-fed is better than grain fed:

Just in terms of taste alone:
grass-fed > grain-fed > corn-fed
So I figure that if it’s tastier and the cows aren’t fed things that make ME sick (hello, wheat allergy and corn sensitivity), it’s a better choice.
And my husband thought I was crazy for buying grass fed beef (when we do choose to eat it). Very informative!
I’ve been switching to grass feed. Thanks for the infograph.
