I agree with the foods. I would incorporate eating a banana before running because I notice that towards the end of my run my legs feel really tight. I stretch before I run and I warm up with a brisk walk as well. I run for a minute and jog for a minute. Im in training for a 5k. It has only been two weeks. I have been trying to figure out why my legs feel tight in the calf area, it makes me want to stop, but I keep going.
