Last week, when I had the honor and pleasure of co-hosting a twitter chat (are you following me yet?) with the lovely ladies of @MomsRising, I was asked about drinking diet soda.

Y’all know how I feel about drinking your calories.

And, one of the things I’ve learned through working with people, is that cold turkey simply ain’t for everyone. Hell, I can look through the comments and see that cold turkey isn’t for everyone. Not to worry.

Loose leaf vanilla teas, with the mesh strainer hiding in the back!

The reason why I tell people to share what they’re struggling with in the comments, is so that I can help troubleshoot the transition toward a cleaner way of enjoying yourselves. That’s why, this week, to help some of you ditch that awful, awful, fizzy drink habit… I’m going to teach you how to make your own sodapop. Infinitely cleaner, far more delicious.

When I mentioned to “chamomile soda” in the twitter chat, I received all kinds of interest. So, while I show you how to make this pizza margherita today, let’s spend the rest of the week talking about teas and soda making this week, shall we?

Looking forward to it! I had a soda (and pizza and chocolate ice cream) yesterday after a 30 day clean eating challenge, and I am miserable. I wanted that “fizz”, but if I can get it clean…I’ll take it!

Yeah. Even though I let go of soda a long time ago, Rootbeer is still my favorite, I’ve always be interested in making my own soda.
