Fit Gear Review: The CitrusZinger and TeaZinger Help You Hydrate Deliciously

by Erika Nicole Kendall

Remember, a while back, when I showed y’all a water bottle I found that had the actual citrus juicer built in the bottle? I was excited then.

Well, the team at Zing Anything reached out to me to let me know that they’ve not only upgraded the Citrus Zinger, but they’ve also created the TeaZinger, too.

Y’all… it’s kind of next level.

Here’s a look at what’s inside:

The citrus zinger now comes with more options for how to get your favorite flavors in your drink. For instance…

Now, you have the juicing options, but you also have a slicer and a ribbon maker (the one with the green rim) for small citrus like smaller oranges, lemons, and limes. The slicer—the one that looks like it has stripes—allows you to slice your citrus so that the slices hang directly inside the bottle, allowing for more flavor to get into your drink.

As you might’ve figured out by now, the attachments screw onto the center of the bottle, making it easier for you to keep everything within one container in your day bag. In the above photo, the juicing attachment is screwed onto the top of the bottle, allowing for any juice to fall directly into the bottle where your water will go.

Now imagine how that works with a thermal bottle for coffee or tea?

Mind blown, right?

Meet: The Tea Zinger.

This thermal bottle comes complete with a juicer—to add lemon to your tea, obviously—but also comes with a grater in case you want to add ginger, citrus peel, or anything you can imagine.

Inside the top of the bottle, you’ll find a small mesh cylinder for those of us who enjoy loose teas, where we can fill it with our favorite herb and fruit blends, or even coarsely ground coffee.

The premise is the same—before you add your water to your bottle, turn it upside down, and zest or juice or grate your chosen fruit into your bottle, then seal it shut, turn it right-side up, and add your water and tea leaves (or ground coffee!), and boom. Not only are you set, but because everything you need is all located inside that one bottle, you’re set all day.

I love these bottles and, apparently, so does my family. I couldn’t even get my hands on them long enough to photograph them with fruit in action because Mini-me swiped the CitrusZinger and Eddy swiped my TeaZinger, with one leaving it in her room and hiding it from me, while the other keeps it in his work bag.

That’s okay. I still have my original bottle, anyway.
