One of the most aggravating things about trying to work out to music, is having to navigate the cord in your workouts. Either it gets wrapped up in or around your arm somehow, it gets stuck to your chest inside your shirt, or – even worse – it gets you tripped up or caught on equipment as it dangles down into your pocket.
There’s been a flurry of wireless headphones jumping on the market, starting with….The Jabra Sport Pulse!
These headphones, complete with Dolby Digital sound, also come equipped with an app that aims to take your training to the next level. By using Bluetooth technology, the headphones keep your workout full of clear sound, with an app that not only offers real time coaching for your training, but helps you plan, track, and evaluate all of your workouts.
The headphones have an in-ear biometric heart rate monitor, that works with the Jabra Pulse native app to help you test your fitness levels, heart rate zones, and set goals for your training.
I was amazed enough by the Bluetooth – what can I say? I’m easily impressed! – but the in-ear heart rate reading blew me away. So, tell me – what do we think? Do we love it?

It sounds great! I hate having to negotiate the headphone cord around my phone/arm/body! I’m assuming you need 3G to use all the features of the ap though which I don’t have where I’m living. Still, the bluetooth part still makes it very tempting….
