Something like this, I suppose:

Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe!

Let me know, below, what you want to see me talk about on the channel. I’m really looking forward to utilizing my certifications there, and sharing with you all more of how to accomplish fitness at home without a gym (which will also give me the opportunity to reconnect to my gym-free roots!), and even a few cooking tutorials. There also may or may not be an “Ask Erika” where you send in your videos or your questions, and I answer those… on video. So, you may or may not want to send those in, too.

I also promise to have the most neon bright nail polish I can get my hands on. Sorry. It’s just a thing.

Your journey inspires me. I have lots of questions. Especially about getting rid of of my Belly.

You look so happy, serene and at peace with yourself after you made the choice to save your own life. Rather than remake the wheel I’d love to follow in your footsteps. Thanks for being a great example and a wonderful guide.

Kimmoy February 19, 2013 - 4:32 PM

LOL loved the blooper, congrats on taking your efforts to YouTube. I would love to see tiny changes you can do and build up on so that it becomes natural for you to eat healthy and exercise regularly, much like brushing your teeth. I get the sense that having cheat days, or off days from exercise, is not sustainable in the long run. Basically, how to be ok with starting small and taking baby steps.

Great to finally put a “voice” to the movement. Glad you are making videos. I live on youtube so I’m very positive your voice will be a wonderful addition to that community. Welcome! and can’t wait to see what you have in store.

I’m open for your to do whatever you want. :O)

I LOVE nail polish so that will probably be most of my questions. I won’t even give the count on my stash. Let’s just say I’m way out the hundreds… :O)

Chaunie February 19, 2013 - 6:51 PM

I would like to see you prepare some meals. I have a lot to lose and I do love veggies but I really don’t know how to use spices to prepare them. Also, I am using a program called food lovers fat loss. I love it and it helps keep me accountable. It requires that you have certain portion sizes and you must have protein and carbs. Is there any way to get my protein intake in without meat AND with out over doing it on carbs??

Sondra February 19, 2013 - 8:06 PM

Simply amazing.

Anji February 19, 2013 - 8:29 PM

Jess February 19, 2013 - 9:40 PM

Love it! I would like to hear more about getting rid of belly postpartum belly fat and more creative recipes for the veggie craze. Will juicing veggies work the same way?

Erika Nicole Kendall February 19, 2013 - 9:52 PM

I am not a juicer; don’t advocate for it, can’t speak on it.

junglebabe February 20, 2013 - 12:21 AM

Hi, I wanted to say congrats on your outstanding weight loss. I have been on a weight loss journey for 11 months. So far I have lost 68 lbs and I am eager to see how far I can go. Thank you for your inspiration…

Alissa February 20, 2013 - 9:23 AM

Amazing transformation. I could learn a lot from you. Currently, I am struggling…have been for over a year. Lost almost 90 lbs…struggled and gained back about 20. Still have a looong way tongo. Did you ever experience a period of time where you really struggled? I think it started as a plateau And morphed into somewhat of a mental challenge. Thanks for your video!

Karen R. February 20, 2013 - 10:18 PM

Congratulations!!! You are an inspiration. I have about 80 lbs to lose and I know that the change lies in changing what I put in my mouth.

Your blog is an encouragement. Blessings!!!

Jenaee February 21, 2013 - 3:19 PM

When you say you went “ham” on the vegetables… can you elaborate on that?

I think that’s what I’m missing… because I’ve had the same exact experience…. working out hard for months and months to only drop about 30 lbs. 🙁

Thanks!

Arianna Gordon February 22, 2013 - 1:29 AM

Hello Erika!

I was, for a long time a “ghost” visitor on your site, and never really commented on any of your wonderful and insightful posts. But, now that you have opened the floor up for discussion, I would like to request the role of love and acceptance as part of a successful weight loss journey. Often, people associate negative emotions with weight loss and try to lose weight while holding onto their anger or sadness. For me, I know my journey didn’t truly begin until I rediscovered the love I have for myself and my health. Only then did I progress. I would love to hear your thoughts and I think it would make a lovely first topic 🙂 Be blessed!

Erika Nicole Kendall February 22, 2013 - 9:34 AM

Can do. 🙂

Tiff May 5, 2013 - 2:27 PM

Thanks for the video. I hope to one day unlock the key to my weight loss. Currently, I work out 5 days a week and see no progress. I’ve always been a pretty healthy eater and am moving into becoming a vegetarian. Maybe one day I will have a success
story too.

Jacquelyn Morgan May 5, 2013 - 11:12 PM
