Okay, family, let’s talk.
I know you’ve seen them around.
They’re everywhere.
Even my instagram.
You might even see them in my #KicksAndCookbooks video.
And I’ve gotta know… do we love it?
I’m not gonna lie. I’m head over heels for them!
I partly get to marry my glam high heels side with my funky sporty side, especially with the way that they’re dolling up the sneaker wedges nowadays!
And, considering the Fashion Week-inspired Revolution Sky Hi Paris-themed wedges I just snagged…let’s just say that I’m a bit in love!
Now, I’ve gotten a few questions about whether these are for training, and I’d have to tell you absolutely not. These brands make performance athletic apparel, yes, but everything they make isn’t built for the track or the training arena. Though, I’m certain that an argument could be made for squatting in sneaker wedges…

…the same argument that could be made for squatting in heels, I suppose, you won’t catch meeeeee encouraging that!
So, you know that I love ’em….but tell me: do we love ’em? What’s your favorite pair of sneaker wedges? Link ’em!

I’m not certain that I like them for me but my 14 year old daughter rocks them …. “NO” they are not made for the gym… I would be too scared of breaking my ankle or neck doing aerobics in heels… wedge or not… lol
I really like them, a lot! But… I don’t love them on me. I’ve tried on a few pair, but left them in the store each time. I put them on and walk around but somehow I feel like I’m trying too hard. I am just not sure I’m “cool” enough to pull the look off. 🙂
I was about to be like, “NAWL!” but those black and pink Pumas might just win me over. OMG, I LIVE!
But…being in my 30’s, I wonder if I would also be “trying to hard.” Oh well…YOLO! (Yeah, I said it 🙂
Maaaan, listen. Some of ’em are actually kinda slick. Those black ones up top are super cute. And one of the Nike Fashion Week styles is so cute that they could literally double as everyday wear. I’m in love. LOVE, I say! LOLOL
I have been eying them for a while. I think they are chic and dresses up my jeans, and leggings..love ’em. They are definitely not for workouts.. I would wear them to sporting events or going shopping. I found one that has gold leather and black some with silver and black, suede. Nice way to dress up a casual look instead of just regular sneakers. Love the Puma Madeira Winter Wedge in Black. Even fashion designers are getting into the act to add more bling to it.
I actually bought a pair from Kohl’s last summer. They are a pair of basic black ones that I can just wear with jeans and I like having them as a part of my wardrobe. I have a hard time wearing regular heels, so at least I get a chance to wear something that gives me height and is cute.
I absolutely LOVE them! But I haven’t purchased a pair yet because a part of me thinks it’s a fad and by the time I get them they’ll be “out”. But I love them because I don’t wear heels often, but I want to feel a little sexier. Flats just don’t cut it all the time! They seem really comfortable too!
Nah I pass, I put them in the same category as those high heeled timbs/faux tims that were out a few years ago; a bit to cheesy for me. I wouldn’t be caught dead in them, but if they work for others, go on wit cha bad self.
I luv ’em! Wouldn’t workout in them but they are cute for traipsing around town and running small errands and looking cute while doing so! I have a pair and plan on getting more! I’m loving that puma one on top!
I love my sneaker wedges and I just turned the big 4-0. I saw a considerably older woman rocking a pair and I think she looked fine, so I know I’m ‘good’. I see nothing wrong with them. I get a little swing to my hips, some added height but since it’s a platform as well I’m not all up on my toes, feet killing me in 10 minutes.
I don’t even try to run for the bus in them, so they’re definitely not for a workout.
I am in love with the Puma wedges! I have 4 pair and I’m looking for more!
by any chance do you know the name of the ALDO wedges (beige and black)
You know, I don’t remember, but if you search ebay for “ALDO Wedge Sneakers,” you might be able to find them. Good luck! 🙂
