As much as we, here, at BGG2WL love to dish on working out away from the gym… it should be no surprise that I thought Puma’s new “Sweat Pretty” series, a collection of workouts that don’t require you to be confined to four walls and Alpha Dogs all day, would be something worth sharing.
Featuring Cara Castronuova, a boxing all-star who was also on some little known TV show or something, the workouts show combinations of boxing moves – something I can’t ever get enough of – with both calisthenics and plyometrics, which we all know how tough those can be.

For bottoms I always wear running tights or slim cut exercise pants, I can’t stand the way shorts ride up! For tops I always wear a men’s A-shit Tank underneath a T-shirt (or long sleeved top when is cold). I can’t deal with bulky and flowy items while working out, it’s just too distracting and irritating – it all has to fit like a second skin in order for me to feel comfortable and be 100% focused while working out. I go a half size up for shoes and am currently in love with the New Balance minimus 10s I purchased recently, they are the perfect running shoe for me
Hmm, for running I like to wear stretchy back leggings, usually a cotton t-shirt left over from undergrad days, and New Balance sneakers. And a fanny pack (hush) with my distance-tracker and keys it in. Gonna have to invest in some cold-weather running gear since it’s starting to get frosty though!
I like to wear baggy everything… soon I would like to revamp my workout wear with tight and sports bra( one this belly goes away.
I find that nothing beats a good pair of athletic socks. They absorb moisture and serve as a buffer to keep irritation from your shoes at bay.
I love leggings and a tank top. I never overheat and I don’t feel restricted.
I cannot run without spandex leggings as a base layer for any outfit, either shorts, capris, or long… not only do they prevent chafing, but I make sure to get a style with a pocket in the back so I can take my phone with me!

I don’t normally wear anything cute. Sweatpants and a big t shirt has been the norm for me.
I’m not small enough to have a favorite thing to wear. If it fits, doesn’t roll up in the thigh area, and isn’t itchy, then it’s good for me.
There are a couple of things that I couldn’t workout without 1)My Enell sports bra. 2) headphones

A cotton short sleeve tee and drawstring pants usually complete my workouts.
Yoga pants or other stretchy fabric and anything that is Quick dri and moisture wicking!
My favorite workout clothes are these loose-fitting wicking fabric t-shirts I got from Target. They’re Champion for Target and are cheap, come in great bright colors, and almost always available. They’re so comfy I wear them as normal t-shirts sometimes too!
When working out I like to wear spanx with shorts on top and I shirt with the sleeves cut off, It makes me feel bad ass when working out lol…
When working out, I have to have the right sportsbra! Can’t enjoy myself if the girls are jiggling! My fave is the Moving Comfort Fiona but I have several that I got at Marshall’s from different brands which work, too.
I can’t workout without my Dri Sweat Edge Women’s Headband. I can’t go running without my Asics Gel Cumulus 13.
I like to wear yoga pants. Always. For working out nothing beats a good shelf bra sweat wicking top. My current fave is pink and from Nike.

I have to double up on my sports bra when I workout. The gravity influence on my boobs would make running nearly impossible to complete. Comfy yoga pants are a must as well. I’m a Zumba-natic so I need to be able to move around without feeling constricted
I almost always need to wear shorts because I these legs are too fine to not be seeeeen. That, or I don’t like material clinging to my sweaty skin 😛 I also doctor my tshirts by cutting around the neck so it’s nice and loose.
My (future) favorite workout gear to wear is THE RIGHT SPORTS BRA! I have F cups and it’s hard for me to get good support when working out. I am still trying to find an affordable and high support sports bra. When I finally get it, I WILL be in workout heaven! 🙂
I agree with the commenters above: running tights/leggings are essential, along with a good sports bra.
My favorite thing to wear is anything with a bright color. It cheers me up and gets me motivated for the workout.
For me I like to wear breathable loose fitting clothing. I am a yoga pants/ tights girl with a large tee shirt. I am not a big fan of sneakers so wearing sneakers that have thin sole works best for me.
I wear capris and a t-shirt to work out….tech shirt if I’m feeling fancy. =)

I like to wear whatever is comfortable and whatever fits. This set looks awesome! I would enter, but I doubt this set would come in my size. :/ If I were already thin, I wouldn’t need to work out. Kinda defeats the purpose of having workout clothes if they are only made to fit people who are already fit. 🙁

What makes you think there’s no workout gear for women in larger sizes? What makes you think you wouldn’t need to work out if you were thin? What makes you think fit people don’t get fit AND STAY fit by…working out?

My favorite thing to wear when I workout is a sports bra and my fitness shorts I workout at home so no shame on my game lol and also I just started wearing a satin sweat band on my head to keep sweat out of my eyes and face.
I Like To Wear Sweatpants & A T-Shirt….
I like wearing yoga pants or capri jogging pants so I won’t step on it when I’m walking or jogging. A close fitting shirt helps me worry about my posture and paying attention with my core. That reminds me, time to go shopping for more anyway.
My favorite thing to wear working out are a great (i.e., very supportive!) sports bra, t-shirt, capris, and an awesomely comfortable pair of sneakers. I’ll throw on a jacket if it’s cold or windy and I’m good to go. I feel like the tee and the capris give me enough coverage to get in a great workout.

For workouts, I tend to wear something loose that breathes well – one of my old, too-large 3X T-shirts as a top, and a pair of Size 16 cotton-blend black workout pants on the bottom.
These two items are starting to look a little sad. For one, I’m definitely smaller on top than I was before, and now even the pants are beginning to look a little bit baggy. Guess those leg/thigh/glute workouts are working their magic…it’s definitely time for a new gym outfit!

When I work out, I wear my ASICS running shoes and socks, and I have a couple of hoodie sets from Old Navy I wear often. I mix and match the bottoms with other t-shirts depending on what I’m doing that day. I also like ON’s athletic leggings. It’s difficult to find plus-sized activewear. You’d think for all the fat shaming out there that there’d be more attractive, quality, affordable workout wear for larger women. But noooooo. LOL
My favorite attire while workingout is a pair of shorts and a cut-up t-shirt and of course a very good sports bra for the girls 🙂
I haven’t worked out in forever, but I crave comfort. Capris or a pair of lounge pants, a tshirt with a tank top underneath, and socks that don’t creep into my sneakers always works for me. I have tried to get away with leggings a few times but my daughters vetoed that pretty quickly.

I prefer capri running tights and upper body moisture wicking top/jacket that is appropriate for the weather. And I am ready to have Puma dress me to “sweat pretty”.

Maybe I have been living in NYC too long but all black is the perfect workout uniform for me. Leggings with skinny leggings since I am short. But usually a black tank and black leggings. Spice it up with a colorful scarf.

For my workouts I love wearing a pair of yoga capris and a brightly covered dri fit tee.
My favorite thing to wear is my compression tights – capris or long tights! After weight loss I’m a bit jiggly and this makes me feel better about moving!

I normally wear a pair of yoga pants, sports bra, and a pair of sneaks. And a bandana over my fro. Its hair time then too. The bandana assures my hair will lay down and be obedient. I’m easy.

Enell sports bra and Nike dri-fit top and leggings. Comfortable and wicks moisture in the hardest of workouts… But always willing to try new gear…especially bras…chafing sucks when running.
I don’t wear anything specific, big t-shirt, knit/fleece pants. But I MUST have my ipod or I just can’t do it.

I like to wear baggy sweatpants and t-shirt. I like to feel comfortable by any means. My sneakers have to be colorful at the most .
Favorite thing to wear is loose workout bottoms and regular t-shirts. Don’t want any extra attention on me when I’m running (or trying to)!!
I love to wear my running tights, for some reason they just make me feel more secure.
My favs to wear are sweats. I also must have my mp3 player.
The most important thing for me is a good pair of cross trainers to provide stability and support. I have flat feet with arches that roll and I find running shoes don’t always work for me.

Inside: tank top, capris, a good bra and wicking socks.
Outside: short sleeve or long sleeve top (depending on the weather), running tights, and my good bra and wicking socks.
I don’t go anywhere without that good bra and wicking socks; or there is heck to pay later on. 🙂
Workout @ home outfit is a super fitted sports bra and sweat pants. Workout away from home is a baggy shirt, my no jiggle sports bra and sweat pants. I look for comfort. Also, absorbing socks to avoid future foot irritations – workout blisters are the worst.

Since swimming is my preferred exercise, I workout in a swimsuit 🙂 but when I need to be a land dweller I usually rock some sweatpants or sweat shorts and a tee. Would love to up my gear though. That might encourage me to leave the pool more often!
I love Old Navy compression pants for both the gym and my runs. They provide great support (especially important for running) and they more economical than other compression pants.
Up top, I wear a tank top under a long sleeve shirt, all being tech materials, that I have collected from Target, Marshall’s, and online discount sites. The tanks do two jobs: on runs, they act like compression wear (I hate things giggling when I run); at the gym, they keep me covered in case my top inches up (like it tends to do when doing burpees and the like). Wearing a long sleeve shirt on top of the tank helps keep warm for the first part of my workout and I can roll the sleeves up after I’ve warmed up.
I’m always looking for a bargain on my workout clothes so that I can put my money where it really matters: sports bras, running socks and shoes. These are the foundations of a good workout and are worth the extra $$$ to avoid discomfort and injury.

Compression shorts/pants and a good fitting, supportive sports bra are the most important! It actually keeps me from being preoccupied with the jiggling (that is thankfully diminishing!)
I wear black leggings, a sweat skirt (it has great pockets and it is adjustable so it fits me no matter what size I am currently) and two bras. When I am running outside I like to wear thermals and a tank top underneath.
Love working out in my yoga pants and a tank top, and if I am going out then that tank turns into a three quarter length tee. I don’t have those Michelle Obama arms…yet! 🙂
Gray running pants or capris (no compression) and tank top (weather permitting). When I started out, I looked like a bum, but after running my first 5K, I started to shopping for more attractive gear to wear while jogging.

Hubby bought me all new workout gear on a recent business trip. Some may say “how dare he buy you workout clothes! Is he saying you’re fat?” I LOVE that he did; is shows is support for me pushing toward a healthier me! I love to work out in everything he bought!

My Favorite thing to wear while exercising in my Vibram shoes, they make me feel totally free because it’s like running barefoot and I push myself to go a little longer and harder.
My favorite workout gear includes compression pants–feels like I can go forever in those–good sports bra, and a moisture-wicking top. Oh, and don’t forget my Save-Your-Do bandana or headband to keep sweat from rolling into my eyes. Top this all with my fleece jacket when working out outdoors, and I’m golden.
Of course, my favorite workouts are in pools, so my swimsuit is a must…at least until I get my own pool at home 😉
racer back tanks are the best! get to make sure you have full range of motion when hitting the weights.

I have to workout in something form fitting. Even though I’m jiggling everywhere, Leggings and a nice tee just does something to me, it makes me feel slimmer, longer, almost like a vixen haha. Everything is in the right place, still thicker than a snicker, but I feel amazing, so that + sweat= the perfect combo for my rest of the day high. And if I don’t have to wear shoes, I definitely won’t. I like the freedom that comes with bare feet.
I like to wear spandex leggings or shorts because they move well with me and keep me held together so my fat doesnt fly all over the place. I also like to wear racerbacks or light tshirts so movement is easy!

I wear a great pair of cropped yoga pants I got at TJ Maxx on sale and a “Ride Bikes, Grow Food” t-shirt that is a fave – very soft and super important message.
