1-1/2 pounds lean ground chuck
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 strips cooked bacon, chopped fine
4 teaspoons yellow mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In medium bowl add cheese, bacon, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Break beef into small pieces. Using a fork, toss until evenly distributed. Divide into 4 equal portions and lightly pack into 1-inch thick patties. Grill.

BAAAACON!!!!!
SMH!
I must tell you…these made my LIFE last week. They were sooo good. It made me realize how little seasoning it actually takes to make a good burger esp with the bacon (which is already salty) in it. Since there’s no binder mine started to fall apart a little in the skillet so I quickly transferred them into the oven for the last five minutes and they were juicy and delicious!!! I loved it!!
I might sub turkey meat – see how it tastes!! Thanks for sharing as always!
Why have a recipes for fatty foods on guide to losing weight blog??
Probably because “fatty foods” are an important part of being healthy? Probably because your body NEEDS fat? Maybe because moderate intake of delicious, homemade, unprocessed indulgences is a more sensible way to live instead of trying to “diet?”
I don’t know… just thinking out loud, here.
