Hey, there! If you’ve found me here, then chances are high you’re coming from the Moms Gone F.A.B. Summit, and I’m so glad you’re here! A Black Girl’s Guide to Weight Loss is my home—the space where I, a lone black girl with pretty cool hair (if I may say so myself!), share all the things I’ve learned on my journey from a 330-pound couch potato to a certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT, FNS, WFS, CWLS) and nutritionist (certified by Precision Nutrition.)
The journey isn’t easy and it isn’t simple—especially with a family of four!—and I talk very frankly about that, especially after the birth of my second child, an experience that also included a fight through post-partum depression.
In other words, I’m a real mom just like you, and I’m not Pinterest-perfect in my presentation of what it takes to get fit.
So, here’s the deal. I’m overjoyed to share with you one of the many meal plans I offer here on the blog to help introduce people to the idea of what it looks like to meal plan—get a chart, write down what your family loves, cross-reference it with what’s on sale (because I’m cheap and a family of four in New York will eat you into the poor house if you’re not careful), craft your shopping list, and boom. You have a meal plan fully prepped and shopped for. Simple, right?
What’s more, I’m making it totally free to you! Just share your e-mail address with me (and no one else, I promise), and I’ll send it right over to you post haste!

If you have any questions, I’ll tell you just like I tell any official member of the #bgg2wlarmy—don’t hesitate to tweet me at @bgg2wl, hit me up on Facebook, or e-mail me! I’m an open book!
