That’s right. To start the new year off, I’m going to host a boot camp to help people better understand what life is like as a clean eater.
Every few days, we’re going to add a new “rule” to the mix, as well as preparing ourselves for an upcoming change. Things like “ditching the cereal” might be an easier fix that “no more fast food,” especially if you’re one of those people who eats fast food simply because “you don’t have time for anything else.” I’m sensitive to that, but I’m also mindful of the fact that you, sometimes, have to make changes. Growth doesn’t happen without change.
That being said, here’s the first rule for the boot camp: before you go to drink any juice or soft drink, vow to drink two cups – that’s 16 ounces – of water first. If, after 16oz. of water, you still want the sugary drink, then go for it. But you must always drink the two cups of water, first.

I have been browsing around the site and reading for 3 hours now( better get back to work right). Well its addictive to say the least . The information you have provided is AWESOME !
I try to run/walk three miles a day . I am not Consistent with Diet and Exercise . I have two childen whom are reaching pre teen ages and have been struggling with my weight after birthing the second child. I am starting CLEAN EATING today!!!! Thank you Erika.

I’m in too! My God, Erika! Where have you and your website been all these years! Everything I’ve read on your website so far (in the half hour) rings SO true to my ears. If I could, I would hug you. And tears would flow. I’ve signed up for your boot camp. I’m watching my calories, and gradually working up the determination to go to a gym (i’m not in my city, so a summer only membership is an expensive annoyance!). Lost about 6 pounds, enough to make me dig my heels in and do this thing right this time. I think the ‘right’ bit is going to gain loads of info and advice from your website/emails.
So here’s to shedding these annoying pounds (of which I have about 60 to lose!). Much love to you! Thank you!! You go girl!!
