See, everyone tried to tell me “Oh, this is going to be easy,” and for some, it is! The conversion toward clean eating will be simple for many. For others, it’s a frustrating journey.
The goal isn’t, necessarily, to have you quickly and easily implement all of these new steps into your lives. I know that sounds weird, but follow me, here.
The goal is to introduce a new way of thinking to you. You may not’ve given up that godforsaken sodapop yet, but do you at least think about how it’s not “clean” before you drink it? Does thinking about it make you consider drinking less of it or, even better, tossing it?
You may not always make the right decision – or even the decision best able to help you accomplish your goal – but if you’re even doing so much as thinking about how your decision affects your progress, then you’re headed in the right direction. People like to overlook how important that is… but that’s okay. I’m here to remind you.
Every.
Day.
There’s nothing wrong with admitting you’ve got to take it slow. Just make sure you understand the difference between “slow progress” and “no progress.” That’s all I’m sayin’.
This week, we’re going to just keep focused on everything we’ve worked on thus far, including our books, and add a little bit of fresh herbs to the mix!
Pick one:
- Basil
- Cilantro
- Parsley
The three most common fresh herbs in the history of grocery stores. Pick one, but don’t buy it until you get the recipe (and the care instructions. We’re not about that “wasting money” life.)
