Quick Quote: Jennifer Hudson Talks To Redbook About Getting Used To Her New Size

In the latest edition of Redbook, Jennifer Hudson shared the following:

“I’m getting used to my new self more than anything else. I got used to being plus-sized and knowing how to be that, whereas this is like, ‘Okay, who am I?’ I keep thinking that I probably need an extra-large or a large and the stylist is like, ‘No, you need a medium or a small.'”

I think we’ve all been there – or will be there – at least once in our lives. It took me almost a year to stop wading over to the plus size section of a store first. It just.. it takes time to unlearn weird little habits like that. I’ve accepted that.

She also shares her thoughts on people who keep telling her “Don’t lose any more weight:”

“I’m at the weight I want to be. But I hear all the time, ‘Don’t lose any more weight, you need to stop.’ People are under the impression that I’m still losing but I’m not.”

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… people need to mind their own business. And, as a celebrity, I can only imagine how many times she hears that during a normal day. Yowzers.

What do you think? Can you relate?
