And, as we’re going to be getting into the thick of my whole anti-processed food mentality – ergo, the Clean Eating Boot Camp – I think you should also see the video presentation that got Dr. Freedhoff invited – then disinvited – to speak at a major food industry event.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Below, is the presentation about what the industry should do to help with obesity. Suffice it to say, the event planners were looking for someone to tell them “fund more playgrounds! fund more sports activities! encourage more personal responsibility!” as opposed to “hey… stop being scumbags.”
I, personally, like Dr. Freedhoff’s polite way of saying “stop being scumbags.”
He’s nicer than I am. Last panel I appeared on… let’s just say that the American Beverage Association reps who were present were a little concerned.
