Saucony’s Kinvara Running Shoes: Do We Love It? #FindYourStrong

Right after I released my video on how to pick a quality cross-training shoe – which featured the Saucony Virrata (which, ironically, isn’t specifically built for cross-training… but damn if it didn’t rock my world for it!) – I received a lovely package in the mail…

My new Saucony Kinvaras!

To learn a little bit about the kicks, I just went straight to the Saucony site:

Building on its award winning pedigree, the Kinvara 4 is a perfect synthesis of celebrated design elements from previous versions. Kinvara loyalists will love the upgrade from ProGrid to PowerGrid in the heel landing zone for even smoother transitions and an improved overall ride (PowerGrid is a lighter yet more durable compound than ProGrid), in addition to the redesigned upper continuing to utilize FlexFilm for a lightweight, natural feel in the forefoot and toebox areas Weight: 6.7 oz. / 190 gm (size 8)

I have to tell you, from first slipping my feet into them, they definitely felt like bonafide running shoes. I’d actually stepped in them to do my regular cross-training circuit…

So, those of you who are familiar with this shoe – do we love it? Do we hate it?
