Home Building A Home Workout Routine Yoga: Crane

Yoga: Crane

by Erika Nicole Kendall

I’m not even gonna lie – this is a sequence that I cannot get down pat. I’m six feet tall, one hundred jhglfdgjhsjhsgl pounds, and quite frankly… balancing all of that on my elbows simply does not feel like something I’m ever going to be able to accomplish. That doesn’t mean that I give up on it, though!

Check out the “Crane!”

I do yoga and I actually love it but when it comes to this pose, my thought is always WHY? I’m not trying it. Not that I’m lazy or too chicken or not adventurous. I’m just not trying it. I know it sounds like a cop out but it isn’t. If I learn that it strengthens my back and/or teaches concentration, I will find other ways to strengthen my back and learn to concentrate.

I’ve practiced for almost 5 years, and I’m just able to do the crane pose… for 3 seconds then I get so happy, I fall over! Patience, girl. All things come in time. 🙂 Good luck!

Crane pose. Ah yes. Crane pose. Just like Nicole, I’ll get up there for three seconds, get excited, then lose it. Ha. One of these days….
